Shale Gas

Growing world demand has put increased upward pressures on energy resources at the same time conventional sources for oil and gas are depleting. Shale gas is one of the most promising sources of unconventional gas. Recent technological advances and drilling techniques have allowed access to these previously overlooked resources.

North East British Columbia may be one of the largest pools of shale gas in North America. Trivello Energy's Lucy property is located ~50km North East of Fort Nelson and has had above average showings in the Muskwa shale.
